Training and Education

Veterinarian get's training in spay, neuter and clinical dignostic and Veterinarian technologists get's the training in animal care and handling. Veterinary technologists, also known as vet techs, assist veterinarians by performing many routine tasks, such as medical tests, urinalysis, blood counts, dog dental cleaning, and x-rays. In short, a veterinary technologist is the "animal" equivalent to a medical nurse.
We make sure that the trainees become specialized to a particular group of animals i.e. dogs and cats, small animals.
Veterinary technicians work closely with veterinarians to look over the health of the animals. Training programs for veterinary technicians includes complete hands on experience. With experience, many technicians can become managers over a team of assistants.
